Mission Statement

“The mission of the Rockbridge County Sheriff’s Office is to provide the highest level of effective, efficient and proactive law enforcement services to all who live or travel through Rockbridge County without regard to race, ethnicity or religion.

The paramount goal in doing so shall be to make Rockbridge County a place where people can visit and live without any fear for their safety or wellbeing of themselves, their family, or their property.

Dedication, loyalty, integrity, and justice shall be the hallmarks of our effort and a quality of life enjoyed by the public, unfettered by crime, shall serve as the benchmark or our success.”
